I ordered this right before my regular computer is dead, so I lived as a main computer and a netbook. It is not suitable for the initial target, (there is a CD / DVD, for one thing!) So, when you focus as your primary computer you will be disappointed.

Lithium-ion batteries have a limited lifespan, they break down slowly from the date they are first. The battery life will depend on how you charge and discharge the battery and the temperature is kept at the battery. A manufacturer will rate a Notebook battery to the point where it's at 50% of its original capacity. At this point, you should replace the battery.

Li-ion batteries are not as durable as nickel metal hybrid or nickel-cadmium designs and canextremely dangerous if mistreated. They are usually more expensive.

Excellent netbook. I was worried about the length will be compared with the notebooks, I am aware, but there is almost no difference. Its size and weight makes it ultra-portable, very comfortable to wear forever. The only thing I like is the key to long for the touchpad. I prefer to have 2 separate buttons. If I were to buy a netbook yet, I would go for that.
