Best Ultra-Portable Laptops
As Wi-Fi spots popping up, all over the country and our digital life on a 24 / 7 extension of our existence, many manufacturers venture deeper into the world of fully functional ultra-portable laptops that can be used anywhere, stored anywhere and perform whatever tasks required of them. That is, of course, raises a number of challenges for the manufacturer, weight, size, ease of use, ergonomics … and how all of the power of the market's needs fit into such a smallChassis.
The general criteria used to determine what is an ultra-portable laptop and what is not, it is necessary that no more than about 4 kg in weight and that they are compact enough to be taken anywhere. Almost every manufacturer offers a version of an ultra-portable laptop, but some are better and more competitive than other prices. Dell, Lenovo, Sony, Compaq, Fujitsu, Apple, IBM, HP, ASUS and all other offer ultra-portable laptops. Below are a few picks of some of the betterBrand on the market:
HP TX2000
CPU: 2-GHz Turion 64 X2 TL-60
o Display Size (inches): 12.1
o Wide Screen: Yes
o Total HD Size (GB): 160
Ø min. Weight (kg): 4,26
o (price) at the time of check: $ 899
This ultra-portable notebook is very well equipped for the price and offers all the standard amenities that have their larger counterparts to HP, such as 3 USB ports, oneDual-layer DVD burner, integrated webcam and so on. Its weight puts it a little on the heavy side for an ultra-portable, but it is quite manageable. The 12.1 "screen is hard to see if they are used now to a larger laptop all day, but it does have the advantage of being a convertible, meaning that the screen can be rotated and used like a tablet PC with ease.
Asus W5Fe-2P025E
CPU: 2-GHz Core 2 Duo T7200
o Display Size (inches):12.1
o Wide Screen: Yes
o Total HD Size (GB): 160
Ø min. Weight (kg): 4
o (price) at the time of review: $ 2800
Robust, powerful and attractive, this ultra-portable laptop is sure to please. A nice magnesium alloy case, this machine provides a very solid feel that you will leave not afraid to take it to the street. The powerful Intel Core 2 Duo processor is a powerful tool for everything most business men (andWomen can throw) it. It also offers a 2.25-by-2 ,75-inch Windows SideShow LCD "directly into the lid, formed of a single function. This small window allows you to view e-mails, the calendar, dates, and browse pictures or music, all without opening the main screen.
Sony VAIO VGN-TZ150N
CPU: 1.06-GHz Core 2 Duo U7500
o Display Size (inches): 11.1
o Wide Screen: Yes
o Total HD Size (GB): 100
oMin Weight (kg): 2.7
o (price) at the time of review: $ 2100
With a weight of just less than 3, the ultra-portable is about as bright as they come. Of course, this is a considerable decrease in performance, so do not expect to run very demanding programs with this machine. Some of the key strengths of the laptops have the ability to DVDs without booting Windows actually play, two operated SD and Memory Stick readers, over a 5 hours period and a stylish carbonFiber case. Although it is not a monster performer, this machine is still installed and always ready when you are in the office.
As these three examples, ultra-portable laptops are seen on the whole range in terms of features and capabilities. This makes it very important, a good vision in your head what you have in your ultra-portable laptop before you buy. This way you can avoid all the functions you need, and those who receive onlyYour laptop heavier.
