Netbook Review
It may or may not be the concept of "netbooks have heard." They seem all the rage these days in personal computing. So, what are they? Netbooks are the new class of mobile computers that are an alternative to the laptop. Basically they are a smaller version of the laptop, both in form factor and computing capability, resources, conducting intensive computer applications. You may very well be the next revolution in mobile computing. Computer manufacturers are now offering a reduced versionthe ubiquitous laptop. The alternative, which they offer, that a small, thin and cheap. Inexpensive compared to the price of a regular laptop, and in some cases even cheaper than a cell phone. Thus, this version of a computing platform is scaled to you? Are you willing to give your laptop a netbook?
Before you decide to buy a netbook, it would be a good idea to recognize and understand your requirements for a mobile computingPlatform. What do you do with that current laptop? The chances are good that you are using it more often to browse the web, run office applications for document processing, spreadsheets, presentations, e-mail, etc. If you are a Web-savvy users, you probably had all that on the to do Web. Is there a local application on your laptop that the total computing power could use your laptop? This is probably a rarity for most laptop users. Games, photo, video, music editing applications, etc.could, for example, part of the mix, but some of them online alternatives.
Most netbooks run Windows software. The operating system is installed, it is mostly Windows XP. So there is nothing new on the OS that users would need to learn. Specifications in general, the N-series Intel Atom chip with a clock frequency of 1.6 GHz Rating installed and 1 GB of RAM with the ability to expand to 2 GB. A screen size of 10.1 "TFT is a limiting factor for some users, but given theClarity of screens today, and the primary motivation, a small form factor, this could be easily overlooked.
Netbooks are of most major computer manufacturers primarily by Acer and Asustek available. Both Acer and Asustek have a wide variety of products and attractive price-performance ratio, especially for students and business users. Netbooks could be used as the standard computing platform for students in schools, colleges and universities. Small and medium enterprisesOwners and managers who are out and about, could also benefit from netbooks. Visit Sales force personnel who are constantly on the run customers could use netbooks to connect with back-office applications via the Web from a client connected.
Today will bring more work on netbooks, the working population are carried out with different operating systems (eg Linux), chip sets, etc. to low-cost computing possible for all users. I do not like how it came with Windows 7 starter instead of a full Windows 7 I ended up paying a lot more to improve and get an external CD / DVD.
